Vergezicht Private School, situated in Somerset West in the Helderberg region of the Western Cape, offers a unique and alternative learning support choice to children who may find it difficult to adapt and flourish in big schools.
Vergezicht Private School opened its doors in 2006 and offers Afrikaans and English speaking pupils a remedial environment in which everyone is enabled to achieve their potential.
Our learners are taught in the ratio 1:11. They have the benefit of performance discussions in regular learning support team meetings with our speech therapist, psychologist and remedial specialists.
Vergezicht Private School is registered with the Western Cape Education Department as an independent primary school and all our teachers are registered educators. Vergezicht Private School has a FULL Umalusi accreditation, which means that the academic, social and emotional well-being of the learners passed the strict Umalusi certification process.
- We teach Afrikaans and English Gr R – 7

The motto of Vergezicht Private School is easy enough that even the youngest child can read and understand it.
